Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Lelling Posted October 17, 2016 Posted October 17, 2016 Hey ^^ So I'm trying to build a page that has a single forum category in it, with some extra twiddly bits on the side, but I'm having problems with that first part. Is it possible to tell a page to display a single forum (or a category with forums in it in this case)? I'm sure there's a way somewhere, perhaps some kind of a curly braces tag that I don't know about Any help would be appreciated, thanks ^^
Lelling Posted October 18, 2016 Author Posted October 18, 2016 Like, I was thinking there might be a way to use something like one of these Quote {block="<block name>"} But for forums I figured if that's a thing that can be done, that could be super simple. But if that doesn't exist, is there a way for this to be done at all? Halp plz
opentype Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Blocks usually just display a feed of content from elsewhere and then you click to get there. Topics, gallery images, external links, whatever. But you cannot embed a whole forum or forum category to run completely independent within a block, page, external site or whatever. It’s not designed this way.
