Why is there a post number in url?

I've noticed that each of my IP.Content news posts have a separate id at the very end of the url. Is there a way to turn it off like /index.php/ ?

Currently it looks like:

http://mysiteurl.com/home/news/news-title-r5266/

Is there a way to switch it to http://mysiteurl.com/home/news/news-title

It’t the default for every record—an automatic FURL generated from the title field + the record ID. But you can override that per record while creating the record and also in the ACP.

And how would the real URL look like? Because I'm guessing not like http://rihannadaily.com/index.php?app=home&module=news&id=123

I can't find any example.

As you wanted it.

If its http://mysiteurl.com/home/news/news-title-r5266/ by default, you can set the custom furl as “news-title” and the record URL becomes: http://mysiteurl.com/home/news/news-title

It’s an option when an admin edits the record:
