Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Stormlilly Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hi guys, One of my Moderators accidentally banned a regular member using the SPAM ban function instead of applying a normal ban. This removed over 300+ posts. Is there a way to reverse this? I thought the SPAM ban had a post limit to prevent this type of unintended use? Can anyone offer a way to recover these posts? Thanks. This is an easy mistake for a Moderator who is not super tech savy to make, I am wondering if this happens on other boards...
Octavian Dima Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 Hello, Restore them for a backup database, if you don't have it you can't recover them once the posts are deleted. To prevent that modify the options in Members -> Spam Prevention -> Flagging Spammers.
