Hacksawjack Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 So my users are reporting that when the post links in their status updates, the link is not clickable. I have tried suggesting http:// in the front of the address, and that does not work either. Is there a setting I am not seeing or code I need to adjust to make links allowed in status updates? I have tried searching the forums here and there hasnt been any recent topics on the matter (2012 is not recent). Please help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Colonel_mortis Posted August 25, 2016 Share Posted August 25, 2016 That is "working as intended", though I (and the several other people who have complained about it in the past) don't think it should be that way. All formatting is stripped from the status for display in the widget, and you have to view the original status by clicking the date to get the rich content.
