default app / default module

default app / default module...  Can somebody remind me what these do again? I'm having a daft moment and seemed to have made my Portal the default app, and foolishly can't remember what the default was, for app and module????

Your default app determines what will appear when somebody goes straight to your site, whether it's a page, the Gallery app, the Forums app ... Normally to get to your forums, the user will have to navigate to yoursite.com/forums. But if you set the Forums app as your default, then that's what appears when users land on yoursite.com.

Cheers... what does a clean install come with? System or Forum as default app?
