Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Vanucci Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 I have my landing page setup with a few plugins that show latest articles and other members stats, nothing special. When i click on the featured article, no matter which, it loads to the article page, but also still has all the plugins on the same page and the article is displayed all the way at the bottom. Is this the norm now in ipb4 ?
opentype Posted June 18, 2016 Posted June 18, 2016 Yes. But it was the same way before 4.x. The article listing page is the same “container page” as the article view page. If you put additional stuff on it, it will always be visible, unless you put it in the template for the specific view. Another way around it: Don’t make the article listing page your homepage but another page, where you only put blocks, including an article block. This block will then only link to your article page, which you can style independently from the homepage.
