Activity Steam Privacy Issue

On my forum, we have an "Ask A Mod" section where users can post questions/concerns for the moderation team. Users are only able to see their own posts ("Users can see topics posted by other users?" is toggled off) for privacy and relative anonymity.

However, users have noticed that posts made in this subforum are showing up on the activity feed, thus allowing every user to see a preview of every post made. Clicking on the topic takes users to the permissions error page, so they can't read the full post, but it's still an issue that they are able to see the beginning of each post. This could potentially cause problems among members.

Is there a way to change permissions for the activity feed to only pull from certain subforums? Or another way to work around this that I'm missing?

Thanks so much!

What version are you currently using? I cannot reproduce this locally. You are welcome to submit a ticket so we can take a look on your site.

I am VERY interested if this happens. On my system with the same setup, it does not seem to happen. Can you please add some details after you figure it out?
