Customize the post / site embed?

Is there any way I can customize the colors, etc of it? It very much clashes with the theme on my site.

Yep. You'll need to make the changes to custom.css. Add the following classes to it and then personalise the values to sort your theme.

.ipsEmbedded_headerArea {
    background: #efefef;
    border-bottom: 1px solid rgba(0,0,0,0.055);
    padding: 10px;
    line-height: 1;
    font-size: 16px;
}

.ipsEmbedded_content {
    padding: 9px 7px 7px;
    background-color: #fcfcfc;
    min-height: 75px;
}
