adding html code in article

when creating a new article record, i am trying to add html code into the article but unable to.

is there anyway to add some sort of button into the rich text editor to toggle the html and non-html view?

the admin cp area does not have the "source button" for me to add.

how can i add / embed html code into the article record in pages ?

i thought rich text editor usually have the view source button. and the documentation does not show how to enable it.

Make sure your member group can post HTML then the source button will appear. This ability can be malicious so watch who you give it to.
