Latest posts issue

Hi, 

Right now on my website the latest posts block displays the latest posts made on a thread, which is what I want. But it lists the original author and original posting time of the thread itself, which I do not want. I'd like it so that it shows the author of the latest reply and the time of that reply, instead of the original author. How can I set this up? I can't seem to find a plugin for it and there's no configuration option either.

Agree, hope this is changed to shows the author of the last post and date reflecting last post.
