Broken quotes, attachment images, links, emoticons?

Hi,

Please note that we have upgraded our IPB forum from version 3.4.8 to version 4.1.8.1. After upgrading we find that there are issues with links, quotes, images and avatars.

Issue with quotes:

After upgrading of the forum we see that Quotes in the new forum are working properly. However the quotes which are from the previous version are facing an issue. We see the older quotes being displayed as follows:

Please note that this is not the correct way and we are surprised as to why it is displaying in this way. it was displaying properly in the previous version before upgrading. Please suggest a fix to this immediately.

Issue with Attachment Images:

In the upgraded forum, we see that the attachment images are being shown up properly for the new posts. However for the older posts from the previous version are facing an issue and they are being displayed as follows:

Please note that this is not the correct way and we are surprised as to why this is happening for the older posts. Please suggest a fix to this immediately.

Issue with Links/ URL:

Please note that the links posted for the new posts are showing up properly under the upgraded forum. However the links posted under the previous posts under the previous version are not being shown properly and they are being displayed as follows:

www.xxxxxxxx.com

We are not sure as to why this problem is happening and I would seriously like you to provide us with a fix to this ASAP.

Issue with Emoticons:

Please note that there is also an issue with the emoticons display. After the forum is upgraded the newer posts display the proper emoticons, however the older posts under the previous version are displaying the alternate text of the emoticons, as follows:

public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif

Please note that this should not be happening and that we need a fix to this issue immediately.

We are facing a lot of issues regarding the same and we would like you to resolve these issues and provide us with the fixes immediately.

Have the background tasks finished? All posts are rebuilt after the upgrade and that takes some time. Seeing weird things in the posts during that time is expected. 

Since you are kind of “demanding” fixes “ASAP”, I would recommend to open a support ticket with IPS from the client area or your ACP, since you are currently writing in the peer to peer forums. You can’t really demand anything here. ;-)

We have already added the support ticket and this is just a copy of the same. We are not demanding anything in fact we are just asking for help in case anyone knows any solution to the issues that we are facing.
