Gabriel Torres Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 There is a scheduled task that I want to run more often, but I can't find where I can edit its frequency. The answer I got from support was: "Hello, in checking this, it seems this was removed in IPS4 and isn't needed. If you have a valid reason for editing one, I would suggest to post your feedback on it in our feedback section though."
Mark Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Out of interest, which task do you want to edit and why? Not questioning your need - just curious.
DSystem Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 I have the same problem. In my case I need to change the schedule of some tasks that make the forum very slow at times of great movement. There must be some way of putting it straight into the database. Can anyone help?

Sorry for the late reply. You can adjust this directly using the MySQL console. I just wanted an editor in the ACP that we could change this without the need to run SQL queries manually. Take a look at the table core_tasks.
