Rheddy Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I'm slowly starting to warm to the idea of making the switch to the IPS4 community suite (it's been a slow process for me trying to figure this out). One of the new problems I've run into is theme selection for registered members. If it's something I've overlooked, then it's an error on my part, but has the basic idea of members changing the forum skin via their account, been removed. Before IPS4, members could select a skin or template change via their profile (IPB 2.x), through the board index drop down menu (IPB 3.x) but I've noticed that the feature is missing from the front end and I couldn't find it in the ACP to possibly enable (?). Just trying to figure out the nuances before I make the switch.
Colonel_mortis Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 The only reason that it's not showing up on this site is that there is only one theme installed. Members can still change the theme using a dropdown in the footer if there are multiple themes installed.
Mark Round Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 You have to give permission to view a skin as well.Go to the pencil icon next to the theme in acp and its in the general settings
