Announcements not showing

For some reason I can't get announcements to show. I have created and deleted about 3 times now. I also verified that the block is enabled according to this post:

Anything else that I am missing or why it won't display? Thanks!

Check the start date: we have been running into an issue where the announcements are being defaulted to start tomorrow. Also make sure you have an announcements block placed on your forums (let us know if you don't know how to do that).

The block was placed. I went to bed and it showed up this morning like normal. Seems kinda strange, I didn't look at the date, but next time I will. I just figured it would be started the instant you submitted it.
