The new browser notifications are brilliant and I find myself clicking them as soon as I see them.

The notifications at the top of the page are not marked as read though, so even though I have acknowledged a notification by clicking on it in the popup, I have to click it at the top of the page (under the bell) as well.

They should be linked so clicking one marks the other as read/acknowledged.
