Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
broni Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Show that the message has been edited box is checkmarked by default if you edit YOUR OWN post.I have a couple of issues with that.(Some more arguments on that issue here: https://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/active-reports/40121-can-edit-silently-setting-doesnt-hold-r7443/)On my board and probably on other boards members can only edit their own posts and Staff members can edit ANY post. While I understand that Show that the message has been edited box is checkmarked by default for members I don't understand why I as a Staff member have that box checkmarked by default in MY OWN posts since my general option set in ACP is that I can edit silently. That, in my understanding. should include my own posts as well.If I don't want to edit silently then I free to checkmark that box.ACP setting should override any other setting.
