Kirill N Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Currently a database's RSS feed excludes the the record image for no apparent reason. Almost all blogs/news site use an article image, it's arguable almost as important as the title, and definitely the first thing a user pays attention to when they see a post. The reason it's so important to me is that we are developing a mobile app for our site that will allow users to read the latest articles, by fetching them from the RSS. We are really excited about it and so are thousands of our readers, but we're basically stuck for weeks and even months because we need that app to have images too, not just text. Not only is adding this the logical thing to do, but it should also be extremely easy. Please consider this for the next version!
Kirill N Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 Please consider this for the upcoming feature release
jhutch Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 The RSS feeds absolutely have to have images in them. We would like to do a ton of automated emails to our readers with weekly content. All of the email providers that we have looked at need pictures in order to have a nice looking template. In order to have those pictures pulled into the templates automatically, there has to be an image attached to reach record via RSS. This is crucial.
