Gauravk Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Wondering if anyone can please help me in adding a filter here: http://carnity.com/business_listing/car-parts/spare-parts-accessories/ that can help users display only selective result based on their choice of field like location based filter or specialization based filter or brand/tags specific filter....? Thanks.
Ralf Herrmann Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 Create a field of a type like “Select Box” and then activate this option in the field settings: Now open the Page Builder and drag the Database Filters widget onto your page. That’s it. People can now apply filters to your database index.
Gauravk Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 Thanks Ralf, for prompt reply and showing amazing pre-build option, tuly justify the wait for IPS4.I have done exactly same as you mentioned and I can't see the filter set on Emirates (dropdown) field on same page. Does it take some time to show up....?
Ralf Herrmann Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 It’s instant. But make sure you are on a listing template to see it. The filter widget will automatically disappear on the record or category index level. It does show here: http://carnity.com/business_listing/car-dealers/
Gauravk Posted August 3, 2015 Author Posted August 3, 2015 Thanks Ralf, It's working great. Any chance I can tweak and remove all publishing info (too much) from listing view and move Specialization, Emirates and Area in same line as title. Result in single line view for each record (check attached first line).
