gbstn10 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Does anyone know how I can add another file type to the upload system? I can't find the setting anywhere.
gbstn10 Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 @Lindy @Charles Sorry to both you guys, I know you'll be busy. I was wondering if there was a way for me to upload an .svg file via the attachment system? There doesn't seem to be a setting that allows you to add alternative file types.
Management Charles Posted June 30, 2015 Management Posted June 30, 2015 By default there are no restrictions on what you can upload. Unless you changed that setting it should allow anything.

This prompted me to check the upload form specific to Pages, and it does indeed have an option to select images or any file type. Perhaps in future, though, add .svg as an image type.

I have checked and I am positive I've not edited a setting on this occasion. Think it is an oversight for it not to be included; .svg is both an image type and the best option for a responsive theme.Worth noting: I managed to upload an .svg via Pages (after making sure there were no restrictions to the upload form). However, the image doesn't display because the link is broken. This only happens with .svg, the .png/.jpg images work fine.
