In IPS 3.x I was able to incorporate LaTeX Rendering use BBCODE as follows:

You can paste LaTeX code inside [latex] [/latex] tags and have it rendered on an external server. I'm still trying to figure out how to do this using my own server, but in the short term, the BBcode looks like:

 

Look & Feel -> Post Content -> BB Management Settings

Custom BBCode: LATEX Equation

Custom BBCode Example: [latex]{H over h} = {g over a}[/latex]

Custom BBCode Tag: latex

Custom BBCode Replacement: <img src="http://latex.codecogs.com/png.latex?{content}"/>

Is there a parallel method to do something similar in 4.x?  Not sure where to begin with this one.  Thanks!
