Hi Support,

Does it possible so user can  log into the forum  with their website login details?

Users should be able to log into forum with their website login credentials while i am using 4.0v of IPB.

so they don't have to make 2 accounts on same website.

 

Does it make sense?

It makes sense but I have not try this option, but the opposite one.

 

What I do in my website is that my users log in the forum, with their forum account, and then they are also logged in the website. Is this option ok for you? If so I can show you how to do it

I enabled the "External Database" login handler and told it to use my web site's database.  For lost passwords and registration, I added links that take the visitor to my existing web site.
