Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Pogue Moran Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I haven't been able to get this to run at all. I never had any previous issues with any of the software installs. After making a backup of my forum and copying the database, I tried copying the files to the respective directory. After it was finished I went to the admin/upgradeI got an error when doing the upgrade routine. Thinking it was something to do with the existing database and files I then created a new database with a new directory and uploaded the files. So when going to admin/install I get the following: Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /forums/admin/install/index.php on line 13Warning: Unexpected character in input: '\' (ASCII=92) state=1 in /forums/admin/install/index.php on line 13Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /forums/admin/install/index.php on line 13
