Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
nwachatter Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I'm trying to upgrade to the latest version and get this message: Your license is currently inactive. You will need to renew before you can upgrade.I paid and did renew a few days ago but it's telling me otherwise. I've got an 8 day wait for cs to get back to me on this. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks
Jim M Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 If you're receiving this message in our Client Area, CS will have to check the status of your account and make sure everything is OK. If you are getting this error in the ACP then you will need to refresh your license status . Please let me know where you're seeing this area and if it is in our Client Area, I'll see if I can help speed up the process a bit.
nwachatter Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 Hi,I'm not getting this error in the client area, it's in the acp during the upgrade process. I'm also seeing this:IPS Community Suite 4The files for version 4.0.4 are present but the upgrade has not been completed.
Jim M Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Please refresh your license data by going to your ACP -> System -> Settings -> IPS License Key -> Refresh License Data (button top left). Please let us know if that solves your issues.
nwachatter Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 Thanks, that did the trick. Never would have found that on my own.
nwachatter Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 Sorry, spoke too soon. I did refresh my license data. Just tried to upgrade to 4.5 and got the same error message:'Sorry, there is a problem That page does not exist. Error code: 2S100/
