bigPaws Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Taking the rare opportunity to browse the forums on a desktop (laptop technically!). Check out the attached screenshot and notes - the alignment seems a tad random / lacking in space?
chilihead Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Looks better in Chrome, maybe report the bug and browser.
The Jimmo Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 What browser and version is very important to report along with this
BomAleold Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 this issue is related on "long title"the title go down the follow block, not the contraryexample: http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/407928-did-you-know-that-you-can-post-really-really-really-long-topic-titles-in-invision-power-services-comunnity-suite-40-and-there-is-no-option-in-the-admin-control-panel-to-limit-that/
chilihead Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Hmmm yeah that's my post lol. How did I not see that?
chilihead Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Admin restricted title lengths are coming soon, according to FP.
Colonel_mortis Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 The other issue on that screenshot, which nobody seems to have pointed out, is that in the breadcrumbs, the topic title is truncated, but it's not truncated enough, so for a logged in user (though not a guest) the longer titles drop to a new line because they don't fit with the "mark site read" button there. I presume that this issue exists because this subforum is fairly deeply nested, and the software just truncates to a set length, but there must be some intelligent way of making it work.
