Jυra Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 It was super convenient and made it so moderators didn't look like they were nit picking.
Adriano Faria Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 According to IPS (didn't find the post), it "confuses" people! Can you believe it?
Jυra Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 How does seeing both of your posts together confusing... That's confusing. In this reply it says this post was edited, so why not include something similar when posts are merged?
chilihead Posted April 3, 2015 Author Posted April 3, 2015 Easier than clicking edit to add the new content to the same post. Post and they are merged.Cleaner looking than 2 posts back-to-back. Or 3,4,5 sometimes. Those interested in post count numbers can't break their posts up on purpose.I use a 60 minute timeframe on my site and it works great.
Jυra Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 I think I had mine set to over 9000 and I don't think IPS has seen how badly people multi-post. Some of them do it even without caring about post count.
chilihead Posted April 3, 2015 Author Posted April 3, 2015 Yes it was an issue on my site, people would type as they were thinking out posts... I know what you mean.Consider this topic an official suggestion to add it back.
