trasmussen Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I have a new installation of IP.Board 3.4.7 that I've recently exposed to my clients. The system appears to be automatically banning all new users as spammers. I have the spam service set to proceed with registration on codes 0 - 2 and flag for review on codes 3 and 4. I find it odd that my clients would be determined to be likely spammers. Even my own internal user setups are flagged this way. I need the system to be easy to sign into in these early stages, but I clearly don't want to be flooded with spammers. I currently have a 1 - 6 ratio of nonspam/spam user setups so disabling the spam service entirely is not desirable.Any thoughts or suggestions for optimal setup here?
