I've done an upgrade from 3.4.7 to 4.0.0RC2 and have issues with https on my test site - i.e. if I access my site via https://site.com css and images all break (spotted as I usually have https for logins on so the admin login box broke).

If I do a clean install https works as expected - is there some legacy value in something that was imported from the 3.4.7 site thats causing this?

This is a release candidate and I'd use that term very loosely here. You gotta be nuts to use it and I would recommend using a backup from your 3.4.7 site instead of trying to make this work. Priority is certainly on getting it to work far before upgrade issues like this as well - just guessing. Good luck.

I'm not using it on my live board, as mentioned above it's my test / sandbox site I'm currently working with and having issues on...
