Adlago Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 When analyzing the speed score of the site has two resources on which I want to draw your attention. It would be much better if the upload site logo, appear additional fields for width and height of the image. Of course it should and these dimensions have them available in the link that loads the logo in source code. Another important resource is the avatar. After uploading an avatar from a member, software suite introduces each application of specific avatar size. Will be much better if these dimensions accompanied link loading avatar in the source code. These dimensions can be entered in the template, an administrator who has the desire, but each update version will create a lot of extra work. I think that the developers of the IPS4 will seek to relieve us in optimizing speed site. I hope so.
opentype Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 You can set image sizes in your custom CSS. No need to maintain manual template edits.
Adlago Posted January 22, 2015 Author Posted January 22, 2015 If I add the template logo:"<img src="{$logo}" alt='' height="60" width="300"> " in speed test everything properly. How do you think this can be entered with custom.css?
