Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
skym Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Hi, I would like to know how to equate concurrent users to TPS (transactions per second) as defined by sysbench in MySQL. Eg, how many TPS does each 100 concurrent users require in IP.Board? I just want to understand what kind of hardware I'm going to need for each x users.
Rhett Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 This would vary greatly depending on what those users are doing. If you can provide how many users you will have in a 15 minute window on your community, we can help guide you to your hardware needs.

Mainly reading, 20% writes. I"m just looking for broad numbers. I understand what you're saying in general. Let's say I'm getting 100 TPS on MySQL using sysbench. How many users would that support?
