Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Ryker. Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Hi, So I just finally transferred my domain to hvgaming.org from a general subdomain of hvgaming.jjservers.com and I'm happy that it not has its own domain, however whenever I try to access any of my files, admin panel, topics, anything like that, The site is automatically transfered to my host. Which is JJSERVERS.com Is this related to Invision Power Board, or to my host? and if its my host is there a way for me to manually edit the config files and change them to my new domain files. Otherwise I really have no idea what to do.
Ryker. Posted May 9, 2013 Author Posted May 9, 2013 Yeah the host is on the same server as the domain, so they just changed it completely. If its redirecting to the host website do you think thats what I have to do? Or could it be because the old website is now linked to their main jjservers.com and the site (which still recognizes this old domain) is trying to access those old paths?
Sonya* Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 It looks like you have not changed the board URL in conf_global.php $INFO['board_url'] = 'http://hvgaming.org';
Dmacleo Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 ahh yes, for some reason I was thinking different server.
