Assistance with LDAP Authentication

I've got LDAP turned on using the same settings that other applications of mine are using, but I can't seem to authenticate against our Active Directory. Is there a debug mode or somethign similar so I can see all of the messaging going on? All I've seen in the log is the message that an error occurred. I don't know where the error is occurring.
