Make it easier/more obvious to go to the last post in a forum section

I have a request on behalf of my forum users; Make it easier to go to the latest post in a forum section (from the board index), maybe by adding an arrow or icon to take you to the latest post.

To be a bit more clear: Go to for instance View New Content. For all content that is unread you have this dot to the left which you can click to get to the last post. If you have already some content then there is no link to the last post. That is what I would want! :)

I agree, the dot is not that intuitive. Personally I prefer the previous behaviour in 3.1.4 and also what Xenforo has and that's clicking on the topic title. That then takes you to the first unread post. A work around would to be to replace the image of the dot with something like an arrow.

Not tried it, but I think all you need do is alter the template for the forum and put /unread after the URL in the link - then clicking the link will go to the first unread.
