Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
.Ian Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Should there be a legend on forums to indicate what the icons are for? Whilst it would add to bloat on the page just wondered if it could vanish once say 10 posts have been made, so that new members could understand the system and established members would not need telling. This could then include items such as preview, hot and any other indicator on the page. Of course this might be better for a hook, but even if it was one hiding it after x posts would be beneficial to all.
Management Charles Posted June 4, 2011 Management Posted June 4, 2011 I don't really see a need as you can just mouse over the icons to get a tool tip for what they are for. It works this was in all software. I spend a good amount of time in Word mousing over icons to figure out what they do :)
dr. Jekyll Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 ...you can just mouse over the icons... ...I begin to have suspect that Charles is a Logitech's shareholder
