Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
InvisionHQ Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Hello, I try to setup a group (tutor) that work on help section of my board. Then I setup ACP restrictions and give to this group only access to "Manage Help Files". The problem is that IPB consider now this group as an administrator group. They can now see email on user profiles, show as administrator in leaders page... No way to give a limited access to ACP and preserve the original permission of the group "tutor" (normal member group without special permissions). Thx
Morrigan Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 This has to do with the "Has access to the ACP" setting. They are considered and administrator if they have access to the ACP.
InvisionHQ Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 For me this is a limit. Another example, I cant make a group to work on "support requests" (with Nexus) without make them administrator. IPS support have many persons that work on tickets but they are not administrators :)
