Lots of "built-in" features in IP.Board are really hooks. Take the status update block on the index. That's a hook.

I guess I just don't see the difference. It's available either way and you could have installed in 50 times in the time we have been talking about it here so I wouldn't call that out of your way :)

But yes to directly answer: I'm not sure if it will ever be in IPB bundled in the zip file sort of thing. We haven't discussed it internally or anything.

Do I have to put any thing in the skins?
Is it going to be really hard to use like the side blocks and IP.content or easy to use like wordpress?

For any hook you download the hook then go to Manage Hooks in the AdminCP and then import the hook. That's it :)
