back to top arrow button..

lets say your halfway down a long post, you have to keep scrolling all the way up to get back to the top or scroll all the way down to get to the bottom to push the "back to top" link.. could we get a small back to top arrow at the bottom of every post? maybe every other post?

Do you have the home and end buttons are you keyboard?
Just wondering as these would serve to take you to the top of the page and even the bottom of the page. I personally never use the back to top buttons as I use the home button.

Check out this article here on adding a Top button. I used this plus added a modified version called "Fast Reply" that scrolls to the bottom of the page where the Fast Reply is.

On my vB (sorry) forum I added a text link - Top - in small text after the hashed page number link at the top right of the post box.

Small, simple, does the job.

Just offered it in case it's something that's easy to implement in IPB?

Not sure as I'm not a customer/owner ... yet!! ;)
