emailing Chat Logs?

Not sure how much of a strain this would be on the IPS servers but here it is.

If the license holder wants it, it would be nice to have a copy of the chat log emailed to them. Or perhaps have the chat log archived (zip format) and a link to the log emailed, where the file would remain available until the next archive (if the logs are cleared out monthly).

I know that I can go into the Client Area and view the chat logs, but the problem is when the logs get purged, they're gone. So the idea is to be able to download an old log (or logs), at least for up to a couple of months. A site owner wanting to keep copies of the chats could download a copy each month for their own purposes. Especially useful if someone is accused a few months later of doing something bad in the chat, the owner would have a way of checking into it.

This is a requirement for me to use this software. I have 3 years of logs from my Addonchat usage. We've had to go back more than once. It is required merely to cover our backsides in case we have any inappropriate behavior from adults towards minors (As both frequent the site and the chat room)
