MaNiAc LRSC Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 If someone is trying to upload a file bigger than 2MB, the file selection window closes and ....it happens nothing. In order to avoid bug reports about non-functioning board-uploads from the board members to the board-owner, i suggest to implement a little error message, which tells the user that the selected file(s) were too large.
ruinernix Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 It might be the php page timing out if it's too long. You should also check the limit in your php.ini.
rct2·com Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 It may be a problem that the board cannot handle, such as a time out from the server because it's taking so long to upload the file.
bfarber Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I believe he's referring to this bug report, which I fixed this morning. http://community.invisionpower.com/index.php?app=tracker&showissue=19422&hl=upload
mld11 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 There seems to be alot of big bugs in 3.0.4 :(...
bfarber Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 No, not really.... There are a few important bugs, but they are, generally speaking, not bugs that affect everyone. Then there's a few javascript glitches, most of which have been worked out. 3.0.4 has been relatively stable with few "big" issues.
MaNiAc LRSC Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 Yes, i ment the bug Brandon already fixed. Thanks!
