Here are a few features that I think would be nice to have when banning/suspending a member:

• Add reason when suspending/banning a member.
• Show suspension/ban reason to suspended/banned member.

I agree, this is something other board software has that IPB lacks. In addition to what you mentioned, also show what date the ban will be lifted or if it's a permanent ban. An option to set both temporary bans or permanent bans in the ACP is needed if one doesn't alreeady exist. :)

Do you mean when suspending/banning somebody via the ACP because I'm pretty sure the above is already incorporated when using the "warn bar" which I know worked in 2.3.6.
