Suggestion for showing/not showing items

After playing around with 3.0.2 for a couple of weeks I've found some things that seem strange to me and might be improved:

When specific functions are prohibited for specific groups (like guests) it might be better if that function did not show up in forum menu. At this point, guests, who can only access a few boards on my forum, but no blogs, tracker or gallery, still see all these items in menu. Clicking these menu items offcourse will do them no good, but why showing them?
The same goes for ACP, when I enable some ACP functions to staff, the should not see the whole range of possibilities, only those for which they have permissions.
