Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Funkmouse102 Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Hello I and a friend of mine has a problem with his forum. He has 2 MySQL databases and run on different ports. The newer of the two on port 3307, where he would like his board to install. Only he gets an error message if he set up the host to "localhost:3307" consecutively. Therefore, there is a possibility the IPB to a MySQL database to install on the 3307 port or another is running? by Warkiller102
Wondering Soul Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 We can't give any support for IP.Board in these forums. If you wish to ask this question and receive a reply, please post it here:http://forums.invisionpower.com/index.php?showforum=311 Or submit a ticket to IPS from your Client Area.
Michael Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 IPB does have the possibility to set the port the database will connect on, but your friend will have to ask how to achieve this using one of the technical support options listed at the top of the page; support is only offered on this site in the dedicated customers-only forums.
Funkmouse102 Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Oh ok, I post at that other forums. Sorry I haven
bfarber Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Do you need technical support? You can obtain support via the client area, or you can try to obtain peer-to-peer support at IPS Resources.
