Hide post before posting

Why not add the ability for Moderators to choose weather or not their post is visible or hidden when posting? There are options to close topics after a post but none for hiding their post. On a board I mod on we have hidden chats within some topics talking about the topic or asking a simple question about it. We have to write "Test" or "Nevermind" post it hide it then edit it with our actual post. Would be nice to just have a check box to allow it to be hidden. Wouldn't have to be limited to just staff but to any group if selected.

I definitely agree. I like to have other moderators/admin check my spelling or grammar or vice versa or perhaps I want to get something done and post about it before its time to have it posted and I have to hide it after I post it.

Also it would be nice (to add to the suggestion) to have a feature similar to the Open/Close feature that un-hides/hides the posts at certain times.
