Only useful way I can see in using them (for the IPB's I visit) is for news areas where you can put the company logo next to the topic name. I wouldn't make it larger than a normal emote though otherwise it's way too distracting.

The only way to make round corners in IE7 is to make an actual image with round corners and use that instead of CSS corner.

April Fools! Anyways, while I do have to wait for IPB3 to launch my site I don't mind waiting as I know the product will be of higher quality and up to par with the rest of the IPS products.
