Trash Can

No clue if anyone has suggested this, but wow the trash feature needs to be improved. I just deleted a post and it went to the trash forum. I then was going to restore it... only to find out you can't restore it because it was changed into a topic in the trash forum and a topic with 1 post can't be restored back into another topic.

So I had to delete another post, merge the 2 trash topics, then move back the one I wanted back and keep one in the trash forum!

So long story short, there needs to be a way to restore posts without this happening. I could have merged some other trash topics I guess and moved it that way, but either way, it requires merging to even move a post back.

I think there should simply be a restore button and no need to type in the topic id.

It's easy - use feature Merge topics.

I did, but it's just a tad confusing at first since I rarely do it. Would be easier if there was just a quick restore button.

Thats why we have "hide" post.

Eh, but I don't necessarily want to keep seeing the posts myself if I enter the topic either. And there would be no point to the trash can forum anyway if the invisible post function was always used. That's a whole separate thing really.
