Signature suggestion for 3.0

I hope this is already in the works. If not I hope it is considered. I would like to be able to enable or disable signatures by forum. If that can be done it's much appreciated.

Let's just let people execute php in the skinbit responsible for the signature and be done with it.

User group or forum specific?
If its a forum, thats one switch per forum for all groups.
If its per user, thats one switch per forum per group (many more clicks).

I think there should be more options altogether.
Per forum would be an extra field in the Forums table and another yes/no in the forum setup.

I think it needs to be taken out of Tools & Settings and put into Groups setup anyways so it can be restricted by group instead of having general rules for everyone.
I also think that you should be able to restrict things that have nothing to do with the topics. I want to allow my topics to have 50 images but I don't want 50 images in my users signatures but they are tied together there.

Also I think that there should be a check mark in the users profile that says "Can have signature?" so if they do inappropriate things in their signature you can remove it temporarily or permanently easily and without having to worry that they'll just re-add one.

That, but also makes it easier to have members earn the right to have an avatar or signature, which on some forums can be very effective.
