Small feature improvement suggestion for 3.0

It would be nice if we could have some sort of a "prune this topic" feature. It could work in a few different ways:

1. Have a checkbox to delete all posts on a page, instead of having to do it one by one.
2. Have an option to remove all posts EXCEPT the first one in a topic.
3. Have an option for the admin to remove all posts before or after page (insert number here).

Thoughts?

I WOULD LIKE AN OPTION TO SELECT ALL POSTS ON A PAGE AT ONE TIME FOR MASS DELETION SO THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHECK THE BOXES ONE BY ONE.
