FrostedPopTart
I'm a member at MarcusInMD's forum and the load has been fine recently, mainly because the weather this summer was kind of boring (except for a couple of hurricanes and some isolated severe weather). I will remind him of this thread and see what he has to say. :)
MarcusInMd
I replaced Apache with litespeed web server. It cut the load in half but we have not had enough traffic to see if the spikes are gone now. I wil report back once I have an idea of whether it worked or not. MarcusInMd
ok, thanks for the reply :). are you running 2.3.1 now with fulltext indexes? No, we are still running 2.2.2 I believe. We have some pretty serious code changes that I will need to update before we do the upgrade.
