Parapsihopatologija Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 Hi guys,We have recently signed up for the Professional package of website hosting, and InvisionPower hosts the IP board forum on opur domain. I would have a 2-3 of theoretical questions. We have a bandwidth of 50 Gb/month. However, our forum is quite popular from the start, so in the first 2 days, we have an average of 1.2 Gb of traffic per day. Although still well within the allowed, if our forum grows a bit more, it may become an issue. So:1. We do a web-based backup twice a day. Right now, our database is ~ 25Mb, so this effectively takes 50Mb of traffic a day, with a tendency to grow with time. Is this traffic also contributing to our bandwidth usage? And if so, would you think it necessary, since this package comes with "Regular backups" done by Invision Power? Also, how regular are these backups?2. What happens if we go over our limit before the month expires?3. Upon signing up, we created a 'ticket' for installation of IP Board on our website, which was done. The ticket now says "Awaiting customer action". Is it necessary for us to write back to it, with a flag "This issue is now resolved"?Thanks

These questions would be better served in the form of a ticket request, and I recommend you do that. As for the last question about the "Awaiting customer action", this simply means that we have responded to your ticket. Your "action" should be to either respond to the ticket, or if your ticket has been completed to your satisfaction you can choose to ignore it or resolve it.Thank You
