Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
duderonomy Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I used this forum software for the first time, today. I did not see an error in my preview, so I posted. Then I saw error in subject line. Tried to edit post (full edit) however that did not allow this... I could not edit the subject line. Why do you not allow the subject line to be edited, if User requested the ability to edit the post?Thank you.
Watty Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 I believe it's configured so that only admin type peeps can modify a topic title...I'm sure there is a modification around to change this so that a user can change/modify the title.
The Clash Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 You have to enable it in the usergroup settings..."Can edit topic title and description?"But...Do you need technical support? You can obtain support via the client area, or you can try to obtain peer-to-peer support at IPS Beyond.Did you find a bug in IP.Board? If you believe you've found a bug please post it to the bug tracker.Have a suggestion or feedback?Post it here. Thanks!
