Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
eyedam Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hello!May I suggest the captcha image to be generated with randomly chosen fonts within the same image? Currently all the symbols are in the same font, so, if the robot has problems with one font, it just needs to regenerate the code to get it in another font. Thanks!
Cybertimber2009 Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Can we switch to the new Microsoft technology of picking an animal from a set of pictures? I don't forsee robots picking a furry animal with ears and a tail from another, or from a set of buildings vs a human.I think its in this video>> http://news.com.com/1606-2-6165225.html

Guest Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 cats and dogs pictures are a nice idea. :)there's a modification on ipsbeyond which implements random fonts and random angles, it works nicely, I use it on my ipb 2.0 site and have not had a single bot registration since.
Jaggi Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 http://sam.zoy.org/pwntcha/this guy is hacking the faeces outta captcha's i'd say ipb get on it sooner rather than later as in essence it could pose a security issue.
bfarber Posted March 13, 2007 Posted March 13, 2007 That site is nothing new. I've known about it for over a year. :)
